"A quick ten episode series of WW2"

"Another fantastic series, and the perfect (and in my opinion superior) follow up to BAND OF BROTHERS. This one goes farther than BAND OF BROTHERS in showing how war can rob a person of their humanity. Writing, acting, directing etc. all top notch."

"I watched this after band of brothers. So different! Instead of a beautiful tale of brotherhood and hope, this series was a depressing tale of heartbreak and death. I was annoyed how every episode had at least one sexually explicit scene. We don't need that. I was excited because I grew up going to the John basilone parade every year in Raritan. I drove by his statue daily and was told his story growing up. I don't think this movie exactly helped his cause. I feel this series focused more on the corrupt part of humanity and war instead of the hopeful side. I am glad I saw it, but band of brothers will always be my favorite."

"I had heard of The Pacific but never really looked into it. When I found out it was the sibling series to The Band of Brothers, I knew I needed to watch it. Do I think it’s as good as TBOB? No. I believe they tell the history of WW2 in and around Japan and the effects the war had on communities, families, and soldiers. "
