"This is such a great adult animated series! Each episode is just like any other sci-fi fantasy adventure series that I would watch. The writing is intelligent, the stories are deep and rich, the characters are rounded out and never superficial, and the voice acting is emotionally compelling. I cannot wait for season 2!"

"Although I'm not normally a fan of the 3DCG artstyle, I think Arcane uses the medium brilliantly and actually makes it look good. The story was better than expected, but not revolutionary. I've loved Jinx ever since the song 'Get Jinxed' came out nearly a decade ago, and I am so happy to finally see her get developed into a decent character. Even though Riot as a company kinda sucks, it's impossible to deny this is a great show. "

"Man powder is a little hex. Hell is paved with good intentions huh? Yes yes yes this is a good show that kept me glued to the screen until the last magic rocket got fired but I didn’t feel much sympathy with Powder/Jinx. Yes I understood the “why” but after a certain point she became insufferable and worked with drug lords. She can’t die because she’s a playable character in the game so and that leads to the only problem I have with not just this show but a lot of popular animation in general. So much of animation is used as a marketing of a preexisting product. I know it’s because animation is costly and it’s better used a preexisting property than to make something original look at most anime promoting a manga, light novel, video game, etc. But does that marketing get in the way of artistic vision? When certain characters should have obviously died but can’t because them being alive in game… does that get in the way of the story? What would this show be like if it wasn’t connected LoL or it’s popularity? I’m just thinking out loud y’all don’t mind me gon head enjoy this while we wait for season two but we know what the finished character arcs lead to… "

"If this is steampunk, I’m in. I gave up on this after 15 minutes a year ago because the facial animation tripped me out. Reason 89 why no one should ever listen to anything I say. After just binging the entire season I can safely say this is a masterpiece. The animation is some of the best ever and the soundtrack modern music’s best, with the score being even better. Next level action and fight scenes with these crazy cool steampunk weapons. But what sets this apart is the writing. An epic saga of a story set in a popular video game universe full of absolute amazing characters that will break your heart. Hailee Steinfeld plays a legendary hero and Ella Parnell her schizophrenic, mesmerizing sister. Huge cliffhanger ending that I can’t wait to be answered in season two this November. "
