"I can honestly say Lisa Newell is one of my favorite authors of could not stop listening to this book it was so gripping I just wanted to know what happened. I feel this book was very good about building the story through the book there were no slow parts it just was steady and kept me thinking about it all day!"
"As I started this book, I wasn’t quite sure but after the characters were introduced and the storyline picked up, it had my full attention. I really enjoyed the way the two timelines played off of one another; as something was found/revealed in the 2018 part of the story, you are then taken back to before the disappearance and brought up to speed.
Lisa Jewell did a great job connecting the two timelines and piecing together all the interconnected characters. Really brilliantly crafted, holding your attention with an interesting story with so many important key players. "
"I’m almost finished with Sarah Gailey’s Just Like Home which I received from my Once Upon a Book Club book box. It was my October Halloween choice (creepy vs. sweet). I’ll be starting Mad Honey by Jodi Picoult and 2 other authors next. "

"Enjoyed this Slow burn Thriller, very character driven and lots of puzzles to piece together as you read through. The plot switches back between 2017 (Tallulah and Zack) Just before their disappearance and 2018 while detectives and towns people are investigating the case. Great character development, pulls you in through the story and wanting to get to the great reveal. I didnt love Tallulahs character, just found her to passive and lost/over shadowed by everyone around her. meh, but that is the point with this part and being easily manipulated; was expecting that at some point she would snap out of it and sock someone into their place. lol Great read! Lots to put together and follow along. I love that you get to see the other side of each Character in perspective to how each of the other characters(parents, neighbours, teachers etc) are remembering Tallulah and Zack."
