While it was still entertaining, towards the end it started to feel more like a filler for the next book than a conclusion to the conflict. The MCs character arcs were okay, overall I didn’t feel like there was a lot of growth in terms of their relationships to one another. Still a great book though, in terms of modern fantasy.
