"First off, I don't usually find myself gravitating towards fantasy. But this author's writing is always beautiful and flows right off the page. Definitely recommend "

"This was like reading the first couple chapters of 8 different books that looked like they were going to be cool but just stopping them. It was very disjointed and didn't seem to have an ending. It just stopped. There were just too many different characters and parts that didn't seem to go together. It was frustrating though because each part on its own seemed like it was going to be cool as you got more into it but you never get more into it you just switch to a different story/character. "

"This isn’t my favorite book. But the plot is really unique. I’ve never read anything like it before. And I think I would read the next book if it comes out anytime soon. I didn’t feel super connected to the characters but I suppose thats how it was meant to be. I think there was supposed to be a distance between the reader and the character because of how the story is. Or it could just be me. And im not saying there wasn’t a connection the connection just wasn’t as strong compared to other books. My fav character I think would have to be Ridley or Harry."

"Loved this book. Parts were slightly confusing at first, but came together by the end. Beautiful prose, engaging characters, lots of representation, and a good look at struggles that mirror very real ones in our society right now. The character jumps can be a touch disorienting to some, I suspect, but I have read a few books with slightly similar alternations, so I took to it easier. Highly suggest!"

"I liked it but I felt a little duped. There has to be a second one coming because very little felt resolved. It also took a while to set everything up and that became confusing at times. But I did like it and would read part 2 should there be one."

"Meh, not a fan. Had some interesting concepts, but was super slow and difficult to follow. Struck me as one of those novels where the author thinks they’re being clever/deep, but it’s really just confusing. Also disliked how the different narrator sections were set up, but that’s just personal preference. I did think it picked up near the end."
