Seymour Krelborn is a nerdy orphan working at Mushnik's; a flower shop in urban Skid Row. He harbors a crush on fellow co-worker, Audrey Fulquard, and is berated by Mr. Mushnik daily. One day, Seymour finds a very mysterious unidentified plant which he calls Audrey II. The plant seems to have a craving for blood and soon begins to sing for his supper.

"Too catchy. Everybody is brilliant in their part, but Steve Martin completely steals the show here. Him and his dentristy. That alone is worth a 5 star rating. But no, we have to get an absurd plotline involving an alien plant who lands in Skid Row (poor part of NYC) and feeds on humans too survive. AND IT'S A MUSICAL! Suddenly Seymour didn't see that coming (Bad joke, whatever.) love this movie and it's a definite recommend."
"Absolutely love this musical. So fun, so camp. Amazing songs, great acting. "

"Very nostalgic and very good soundtrack "

"Has a few movies meshed up feelings into it, one like Mario Bros due to the plant, Honey I Shrunk the Kids due to how big the plant gets, and the same actor who played the leading role in both movies, I would also say Grease the movie due to this having the same music feel.
At the end of the day, I would say that this movie deserves 5 stars due to how well the storylines played out and how everything meshed so well together in a fun well entertaining movie for all ages.
Please note that there are a few swear words in the movie, but you shouldn't hold that against being able to watch it with someone at a young age as movies from back in the day were made that way of not being totally watered down like movies of today. "
