"This was an absolutely amazing movie Justin Baldoni, Outdid himself I haven’t read the books, but I definitely plan on reading them. It’s the movie was just good. I can only imagine the books."

"I read both books last year. Despite other people's grievances, I think both the books and movie were great. The portrayal on screen was amazing and faithful to the story, any changes or omissions seemed to serve the story for the better. I think it is a very clear picture of how an abusive relationship may start and how the person being abused can trick themselves into allowing it to continue. I'm so glad in this case she gets out for the sake of herself and the child (which in some ways may be less realistic than how things usually end). I really do hope we get a second movie to see her story to it's completion. 🩷"
"I read the book and even tho I had my issues with the book itself… this movie takes the crown for giving me more issues than the book. Many important details were missing in the film and while I did like some scenes they don’t change my mind on my rating. Also all the drama that Justin and Blake have going on with the author or whatever is just making me rate this film poorly because I think no one knew how to work together and just ruined a fan favorites book into a film. "This movie was okay. I felt like Blake lively and Justin Baldoni had zero chemistry which made it hard to get into and cringy at times. The many current day time jumps were annoying as well. It’s not a bad movie but I was expecting a lot more. I have not read the book but I also doubt that’s what lily was supposed to look like."
"Great performances. I can see why they chose Blake Lively for the role. She is incredible. The highs and lows, the happy moments and sadness was very well portrayed. The story has so many holes in it, perhaps it’s because I didn’t read the book. "

"Yes I finally watched this I read the books have several special editions but let me tell you the movie was a let down didn't cry I didn't believe any of the relationships taking the fashion talk out of this like the reason why the book crushes your soul is because you get to see this beautiful love that Ryle and lily built you understand in the end when she chooses her daughter but it rips your heart out there wasn't one moment in this movie where I was even sure that Lily liked ryle I still enjoyed seeing the book brought to life there were some scenes there where I got glimpses of the book "
"Finally watched this.. so many things to say..
As someone who read the book, I’m glad the message got sent across but it lacks the passion the books describes.
With all the news that came out about Justin harassing Blake, it was hard to separate the news to the movie.
In general I didn’t hate it. It was ok "
