"I just re-watched, and it stands the test of time. The midcentury colors and art style are so charming. The Grinch's movements are so dynamic and cartoony during his mischevious sequences-- it is a work of artistic genius. I think there are a lot of younger people that never saw the original cartoon adaption, and grew up on the terrifying Jim Carrey version; it's a shame because I honestly think the original cartoon's quaint simplicity and storytelling make it far superior and deserving of nostalgic status. Most importantly, in the Jim Carrey version, all the Whos are what nightmares are made of. 🤣 "
