"This film is a hilarious update to the Scrooge character centered around the Christmas 🎄 holiday. Bill Murray is perfect as the Cable TV executive who needs to start loving humanity again. It is a sort of twisted comedy, but I always laugh so hard at the same scenes every time I watch it!"

"The opening sizzle reel of IBC programming is pure gold and I absolutely love the cast. The scene transitions, effects work, and Danny Elfman’s score give Donner’s ahead-of-its-time Dickens take a demented Burton-esque edge—I adore this. Carol Kane’s sheer brutality in this is next level and I’m convinced any movie with John Housman telling a story is good. Love the Trump tower dig, and Bobcat’s whole arc. Also, “The North Pole is abuzz as Christmas preparation is in full swing. But a group of psychos have other plans and seize Santa’s Workshop. Only Lee Majors can stop them”. It’s been 34 years and I’m still dying to see THE NIGHT THE REINDEER DIED."

"This has to be in my top 5 of favorite Christmas movies, my family would have it in their Christmas movie rotation when I was a kid and I was both scared and amused at the same time. I would say if you have kids that scare easy maybe leave this one out as the ghosts in this movie can be actually horrific and disturbing..I found out the hard way as kid but for me that was not a bad thing because I still loved to watch it every year and made it that much more memorable! I really consider this to be a comedy/horror/holiday movie and gives each genre care and it’s own spaces to take the spot light. "
