"Spoiler: I just watched this and idk if anyone else has the same question or even knows the answer, but when the boy let the homeless guy inside, the people chasing him didn't see him go into that house. So how did those people know that he was even there?? Does that make any sense? I'm a bit confused "
"The Purge franchise has great moments, but this is not my favorite Purge movie. At its center, a home invasion movie with characters who are unreasonably stupid or angry. This movie marked the beginning to a memorable series, but could have been improved drastically. Recommend watching to better understand the themes of the Purge, but also recommend continuing your Purge journey with the later installments. "
"Interesting premise, horribly executed. Uninteresting characters, cliche tropes and very predictable. The story could’ve expanded on the lore behind the purge and work on more believable and relatable characters. The characters were extremely one note except maybe for Lena Headey’s character. "
