"A great start of a temporal franchise where the hope for the future lies in the past as individuals from opposing sides are sent back in time from a dystopian future, while one side protects a woman who is key to the future the other was sent as an assassin! Worth watching as the events send the May being hope or loss to the future!"
"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ another rewatch. This is probably my favorite sci fi movie of all time and I was nervous it might finally look a bit too cheesy but nope. Well maybe just the teensiest twinge, early 80s and all but damn it’s just as riveting and iconic as ever. Also I need to say it…the animatronics and stop motion are just so fun to watch in this over saturated cgi world. "
"Perfect action thriller and a great movie score as well. Another James Cameron bestie!!!"
"Definitely the movie that sets off the franchise, that I love. One day I hope they make a movie that focuses more on the war (apparently this war is shown to be in the year 2029 in the opening sequence), and less on the time travel part. That's been done multiple times, and the machines keep failing. Now let's focus on the war and John Conners Rise to Power. Maybe. A Trilogy of him at different ages leading up to the machines sending the T-101 back in time. But no time travel, maybe even have the story of his dad going back in time and all the events to be crazy tales, that nobody believes...until it happens. And Make sure there are ray guns."
