"Although I liked it, I just kinda feel bad for The Golden Compass. It was unfairly martyred by religious groups. The movie seems to be drained of any real message in a failed attempt to please those groups. The book is fine though. It's just such a shame it has been relegated within the shadow of Narnia. "

Also, every adaptation of these books seem to like Lord Asriel a little too much, when the point of the matter is that he’s about on par with Mrs Coulter. 🤷♂️"
