Two college students driving coast to coast are lured off the main highway and onto a deserted Texas road. Here they are stalked by the menacing Leatherface and his demented family...a bizarre cannibalistic clan with blood on their hands and a feast on their minds. The students’ only chance for escape is a survivalist with enough firepower to blast Leatherface and the rest of the grisly predators to hell. "Not the best, but definitely not the worst. It lives comfortably in that middle of the pack. Ken Foree as always is great. The story is decent enough to get us from scene to scene, and the acting (Oscar Nominated Viggo Mortensen) is well enough to keep us invested. The biggest missed opportunity was the Awesome and Amazing Golden Chainsaw featured in the movie for just a small cameo. It would have been a game changer to see good ole LeatherFace chasing people with it. I give it 🪚🪚 1/2 saws."

"This movie is like a C tier slasher but judging on the curve of Texas Chainsaw sequels it's like an A+. Viggo Mortison steals the show (I think he plays a better version of the charismatic psychopath than Matthew McCaughey does in Return tbh). It has pacing issues when compared to the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre and, as with all the sequels, Leatherface is characterized completely differently than he is in any other movie but all together I had a passible time. It's not a classic like the first one but after shlocking through every other film in this series it's God-Sent."
