"Such a funny movie! "

"As someone who was not a fan of the first one and often found it annoying, I didn't expect to like this one. However, it's fun. The beginning can be a bit much considering everything. I guess they had to fall in order for the story to continue, and create suspense for them to have to win. I thought the falling of Bumper was creative. Cringey yet realistic. A lot of the first 25 minutes is cringe, but DSM really helps bring it out from the mud. Alongside all the parts of Bella trying to make it as a intern/producer. Now let's get to the true amazing-ness Pitch Perfect 2 brought. The German group, DSM! They were incredible! Their songs are awesome and heavy. They hit you right out of the gate and the amazing vocal talents keep you invested. They are easily the best singers even though the main characters normally hold that spot. I think the Bellas have great mash-ups yet DSM are just outstanding. They're why I watch this. And every scene they're in, every line they say, makes up for all the nonsense the first made me go through. Also the story is good, but the subplot of the one girl wanting to sing original songs is mediocre. Especially at the "Riff Off" they're legit supposed to sing songs that fit a criteria and she throws in a song that doesn't and nobody could possibly know. So yeah, they deserved to lose that one. Made a moving ending with a solid song, so I guess it worked out. It's my second favorite in this accappela series. "
