Marked Woman

"This drama starring Betty Davis and Humphrey Bogart is everything I was hoping it would be. The acting is fantastic. Of course, at times, Betty Davis is overdramatic as usual. But you can forgive that because of the great acting. The plot is a great example of film noir. A street wise woman tries to outwit the under belly of the City Mob, and puts people in danger along the way. Mary meets David, Humphrey Bogart, the no nonsense detective who wants to help Mary imprison a terrible repeat offender named Vanning. Once the plot came into clear focus, I was along for the ride for the twists and turns. I just love how well matched Bogart and Davis are in this well written and acted film."
