"One of my all time favorite movies and the Coen brothers at their best (which is saying a lot). Gripping and intense but with dark comedy weaved in throughout. The anthology show by the same name is some of the best TV ever made as well (seasons 1 and 2). I highly recommend both the movie and the TV anthology. "

"I enjoyed this. I will say the first 20-30 minutes are pretty boring. I almost even stopped watching. But I love the camera work and the music in the film. I really liked how the movie felt calm even with everything happening. Like how the actors never acted overly dramatic.I liked the cop. Good film that’s all. "

"As I watch her acting movie after movie, I become a fan of Frances McDormand... She is so good... I liked the movie. There is a sense of humor but also nerves are on edge because something could happen at any moment. I liked her professional character, she knows what she does and she is really good at it. The other characters are the same... It is like an all-stars movie. If you like to watch crime movies but don't like the killing(!) tension but like rather less tension, like me, this movie is great"
