"Horrortober 2022 Day 27 “When you go fishing, do you always know what you’re going to drag out?” The Wailing is one of the best films I’ve seen out of this whole Horrortober challenge and one I had the most fun with. If someone told me this is one of the best south Korean horror films of this past decade I don’t think I could even argue the point. This is a very complex ambiguous story that you have to pay full attention or you may become lost in it. There is also shades of dark humor I wasn’t expecting. It’s very epic mysterious crazy gore infested emotionally draining tense supernatural horror film. In my opinion this film should be talked about more because it was that good. I like demonic possession films a lot it’s a actually one of my favorite horror sub genres. I think it’s because “The Exorcist “ was the first horror film I saw as a child to really have an affect on me. In all honesty I believe I slept with the lights on that night no joke.
