"CRAAZZZY movie with an ending to match 😵‍💫"

"For the most part I can say I liked this movie..but the main Protagonist drove me nuts..she was a very stupid character and all her Decisions where dumb, I don’t know if that was a Purposeful choice but I hated being in her Perspective. This was made up by the cenobites who’s designs where incredible and their Entrances where fabulous..I wish I got more of them, and I love the new pinhead. Worth the watch just be ready to be annoyed by the main."

"Just watched this with my mates. I have never seen the others. I’m not a fan of gore. This movie is a slow burn. Not really much to the plot. Gore wise I’m gonna have nightmares for months. The make up department did a good job cause 🤢"

For the first time literally two months ago I watched the original Hellraiser for the first time. I can remember seeing it on the screen as a kid and me leaving the room fast. So im definitely not the one you're looking for if you want a in depth review. Besides the original I haven’t seen any of the nine other sequels. But if I’m judging this from a stand alone film I will say it was an solid watch. It definitely could have been shorter because 2 hours was definitely pushing it. Odessa A’zion gave a compelling central performance and I consider her to be a break through star. I remember watching her on a Netflix show called Grand Army. I will say Jamie Clayton who plays the new pinhead was decent but she doesn’t hold a candle to the OG. This is still that same gore body horror skin flaying Hellraiser so if that’s what your looking for then this could be for you. "

"I’m 50/50 on this film. My main complaint I wish they had done grittier, darker, more violent and unsettling. I think the original created a sense I dread that this remake lacks. If they make a sequel to this remake, I hope they push the boundaries further. "
