"💕 I adore a #sweet #romcom (or romantic dramedy) and this was a cute one 👍🏾 … And the addition of Jameela Jamil as the narrator who popped up literally everywhere (but as completely different characters each time) throughout this film was a delightful spin, too ☺️ I’ve always had a slight crush on Ben Hardy ever since seeing him as the adorable, shaggy haired, rock star drummer in BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY, so I decided to do a double feature of him today — He co-stars in this new Netflix movie with Haley Lu Richardson (who’s equally adorable — she was absolutely, perfectly cast in FIVE FEET APART), and Hardy also had a significant role, very important to the plot, in a 2021 mystery-thriller entitled THE VOYEURS. This was hands-down the better of the two movies I watched today… although I have to admit it made me blush to see Hardy in, uhm, practically “full form” (shall we say?) in THE VOYEURS 🤭 Does that make me a cougar? 😜🤓 … JUST KIDDING!! Anyhoo, this was quite a charming, & lovely romcom that might also tug at your heartstrings just a wee bit 🥹☺️"

"There are many things that made this movie great. One of them was Jamilla Jamil popping up as narrator/fairy godmother. This movie made me cry, made me feel cheerful & hopeful. It gave me all the feels & made my heart beat fast, leaving me with a smile. "

"Touché for blatantly and gleefully telling you exactly what it is, a fairytale in every sense of the word. The impossible dream. A masterfully made tearjerker with two absolutely adorable leads. This is one you understand why some like it and some don’t but you have to pick a side. This your jam or no? The answer for me should be obvious by now but I love crying my ass off through these fantasy movies. But I’ll never get used to this new directing style, I say through gritted teeth. "

"I expected to like this a teensy bit more, but nonetheless I still enjoyed it. Perfect for anyone who thoroughly enjoys watching people have witty and quick conversations upon just meeting and keeping it up through every interaction. (If you couldn't tell, that's exactly what bothered me. I prefer this to be in much smaller doses as I find it very unnatural.) However, the MCs do have good chemistry and make you wanna root for them pretty immediately, so it's still a respectable rom-com with interesting antidotes making it definitely worth at least one watch :) "
