"This was from 2017? How did I overlook this one?? I’m definitely recommending this — Jeremy Renner & Elizabeth Olsen both turned out strong performances, and the pacing was perfect, allowing for some good character development while unraveling the mystery. The justice served in the end was extremely gratifying (with a punishment fitting the crime), and the ending scene with Renner & Gil Birmingham was especially poignant 😔❤️‍🩹 "

"I'm glad to see this come to Netflix finally for those who haven't seen Renner and Olsen declare their places as actors -- not the Avengers. The scenes of harsh Wyoming winter is beautiful, brutal, and somber. I don't see it mentioned in comments much, but the score does well touching each scene and moment. The story is quite sad enough but truly heartbreaking knowing it's inspired by real events, not just about the girl but the marginalization of our Native peoples."
