Slender Man

"I can't believe a movie based on a 2009 creepypasta got greenlit for release in 2018. It's as predictable and unremarkable as you would expect, BUT it does some things pretty well. Half the movie is shot in complete darkness, with silhouettes being the main focus, and even though that could be annoying, I think it creates a decent atmosphere. The sound design surprised me, its actually pretty well done. If you're a fan of the creepypasta, the movie will be fun, but I couldn't recommend it for those who aren't. "

"This movie was actually really bad but I wan't to say why. It was incredible as to how not scary it was. I'm kind of a scardy cat, so this was the first "horror" movie I watched. Me saying this was hardly a scary movie is saying something. I showed up to the movie late, but it wasn't exactly rocket science to figure out. Save yourself the time and money and DON'T WATCH THIS MOVIE."
