"So cute, and they finally get a good ending. Seems like they might make a 2nd movie, so hopefully, they don't mess it up. If you like the shows you will definitely like the movie as well, maybe even better."

"I misunderstood what this movie was supposed to be, and I still liked it buuut I kinda wish it was just a prequel like I'd expected. Instead it feels like a stand alone piece that I dont think I'd have enjoyed as much if I didn't watch the show. Not to say you shouldnt watch it if you're not a fan of the show (though I'd be curious to know why you wanna watch the movie if you're not), just dont think you'd be as satisfied. This is also a musical, which I had no clue about, and I don't really care for musicals. The music was actually fine for the most part, specifically because the singer used for Marinette had such a pretty voice! 7.5/10 - I think if it was strictly a prequel I'd have given a 9 rating instead cause I really liked how it started"

"I'm warning fans, this is an origin story. Marinette & Adrien aren't as confident or level-headed. They're beginners, & since the 1st episodes in the show weren't the origins, this movie will throw you off a bit. You watch them at the beginning as they get used to it all. Not a bad thing, but I know it'll throw hard-core fans off. I say this cuz they really play into those parts where they're showing each characters motivation/faults. Fans will feel pandered to & annoyed by the repetition. Just keep in mind movies need to stand alone & establish its own story. Also, it repeats the shows mistake of putting things out of order. Not on purpose, but storywise, some moments should come before/after others. As in the pacing of the movie is off. Especially near the end, certain things come to a head, yet it slows down for a backstory that could come sooner. They didn't need to explain that moment character to character (won't spoil, you'll know what I mean when it comes). I had no idea this would be a musical. It threw me off, but the songs are good. Except Marinette's singing voice sounds nothing like her speaking one. Like at all, & you notice. It's beyond beautiful, but it's not at all like her speaking one & it's weird. The animations well done. The characters' designs aren't as cartoonish, again not a bad thing. You'll think the eyes are too small if you watched the show. The message of the film is clear & repetitively vocal. It gets to be a bit much. As in, it needed one more round of dialogue editing. That could've made it feel less robotic. I enjoyed the end & I think all fans will. Mostly cuz it actually has an ending & we aren't even close to one in the show. As for the end scene, though, it comes out of right field if you don't watch the show at all. Still fun & well executed with only a few mistakes. Definitely worth a watch whether you've seen the show or not. If you haven't, you're in for a treat when you start binging the show."

"I only made it through about 40 minutes before I just couldn’t take any more of the excessively cheesy, forced and cliche story/singing/acting. A wannabe Disney or Dreamworks movie that tries too hard and fails flat. "

"I was surprised when they started singing but it was enjoyable like the rest of the film. Although they added some new spins it still conveys the same plot as the series which was great but I was bummed out on some parts missed or changed. That would inevitably happen since it’s a movie so everything is crunched on time. The animation was beautiful and that’s what kept me there as the colors were so bright which made me astonished!"
