"I rate this Frank Grillo-led action movie four stars because of the unique take on the repeat a day formula. Frank Grillo plays the role of Roy Pulver, who somehow gets sucked into a time loop and has to figure out what to do next. Mel Gibson plays the role of a of the the main villain. Naomi Watts plays his ex-girlfriend. This a really interesting mixed cast, which I enjoyed thoroughly. The rule of Brett or Mel Gibson's right hand man is played by Will Sasso, whom I usually associate with comedy. The last time I saw him he played in a short lived comedy comedy office series from the early 2000s, called Less Than Perfect, and of course, in the comedy sketch series Mad TV. I was so glad to see Michelle Yeo play the swordmaster, although I would have loved to see more of her. Frank Grillo's real life son portrayed his son in this action packed movie that doesn't ask for forgiveness. Selena Lo plays Guan Yin, and Guan Yon does this!😉 Ken's Jeong has a small role as the owner of a small hole in the wall diner. Since this is a Frank Grillo lead movie, you will hear a lot of f-bombs. That is really too bad, because the movie has a lot of heart. At its core is: What will you do to make things right? What will you change? Will you change yourself and change your circumstances? I enjoyed the whole movie from start to finish, with its heart pumping action, and some scenes of reflection. I was surprised just how much I liked it. Be warned: ⚠️ there is explicit language and non-stop action. There are some violent scenes that are not appropriate for young children."
