"It was good movie"
"At first I thought I wouldn’t like it afterall but as I got into it I realized it had a pretty good story. The two main actresses were good."
"Crazy good movie! I had my theories about it but it was soo good I definitely recommend to see this! There is a twist and a lot of flashes so just a warning."
"So I went into this movie completely blind which I’ve been doing a lot the past year or so. The cinematography was beautiful and the 60’s soundtrack was pleasing to my ears.I just thought the movie was going somewhere it never went. Also very predictable and wasn’t a big fan of the visual effects used for the horror aspect part of the film .Other then that it’s definitely a unique horror mystery. Not to mention both actresses were stellar. I love Anya Taylor-Joy ever since I saw here in Queens Gambit forever a fan of her."
"So, I purposefully went blind into this film, while knowing it probably wouldn’t supplant baby driver as my favorite Edgar wright film. It definitely didn’t. I spent most of this movie pleading that nothing awful would happen to John, as he was the best character in the movie and sadly the least developed. I was terrified he would be sucked into the ‘60s too and hatecrimed. Fortunately that doesn’t happen, but there are so many uncomfortable scenes of assault and exploited women it’s sickening."
"Seriously one of the worst movies I've ever seen and I can't even pinpoint why it was so bad either. I didn't like the MC for some reason. John was constantly facially expressive I'd say almost too expressive in a comedic way. Sandies dancing didn't look fluid and natural. Sandies "boyfriend" (personally to me, no offense to any of you if you find him attractive) is HIDEOUS and not believable at all that he's "handsome". The old man, Lindsey had NO backstory on him but became a semi important character for no reason at all and zero explanation as to why he would speak so negatively on Sandies character. I just hated it. It was a waste of my time. The beginning starting in the newspaper dress dancing around singing was cringy. Also as a fashion student you definitely can not just copy someone else's preexisting design. Maybe I did find out why I disliked it so much; I guess i just hated everything about this movie. "
