Operation Mad Ball

"This movie is a sort of romantic comedy with the backdrop of U.S. military barracks. Jack Lemmon, Ernie Kovacs, Dick York, Kathryn Grant, and a host of other popular 1950s actors make up the cast of this madcap movie. The entire plot is about Jack Lemmon arranging a large party for enlisted men and officers who need some private time. The plot is a little dull at times, but as a whole, I enjoyed it seeing Jack Lemmon in a different type of role. The acting is good for this genre of film and the plot is extremely simple. Jack Lemmon wants to get a lovely female officer to go to the party with him, and goes to unbelievable lengths to outwit his commanding officer. Enjoy this movie for what it is! 😄"
