"Damn Carrie is a sad and haunting movie and each step you know that everyone could be saved if they weren’t so cruel. If you where ever bullied or came from any crazy Religious background you understand where Carrie is coming from and you just want to give her a big hug. The ending is Satisfying if not horrible. But you that I know we both cheered for her. 😉"
"This is one of those movies that has been on my watchlist for literally YEARS and I’ve always avoided it thinking it would be an eye-rollingly cheesy horror movie. I was SO wrong! De Palma is a master of camera movements and every shot is so beautifully framed. Carrie is wild and I highly recommend it. "
"Classic Brian de Palma/Steven king"
"Horrortober 2022 Day26 “There all going to laugh at you” What can I possibly say about Carrie that hasn’t been said before ? Pretty much nothing at this point. I’ve seen this film so many times between a kid and now that I probably won’t watch it anymore. Something told me to watch the remake instead because even though I’ve seen it I don’t remember it as vividly. It’s know where near as good or iconic but I honestly know this film like the back of my hand like seriously. It’s a horror classic for the ages and always will be. I spent the whole film waiting on the prom which I guess I’ve seen too many times to actually enjoy also."
