Hotel Transylvania

"A cartoon that’s not afraid of being a cartoon. There’s energy in the movement that reminds me of some of the older looney tune shorts. Plot is basic but things look good and I’m fine with that. "

"This movie is so cute! I love the thought of monsters getting to have a vacation hotel all to themselves to well be themselves and I love all monsters presented in the film also how they are very ordinary every day families. I think could make a really good Halloween/spooky summer movie to watch with the kids. The father daughter relationship is really sweet and to me one of the best/strongest parts of the movie. I will I could go without some of the immure humor but it’s not enough to really hurt the movie for me it would of just made the script tighter."

"Is it a good start, yes. Will I watch it without wanting to watch the series, no. There's no true villian and that can kill a movie. The only great thing was Dracula entering the real world and, I'll admit it, I liked the song sequence at the end. Introducing all those monsters though was incredible and I commend them on that."
