tina_4117 shared a tip "This movie is in fact boring but that is not why I don’t like it. I find that the way people treat Barry is very annoying. Instead of the script giving the characters normal conversations with Barry, they are always judging him and prying into his business. He is not allowed to just be himself. His sisters treat him horribly. His anger problem is also something that concerns me because I feel like this is the foundation of somebody who might become violent in a relationship and end up with a domestic violence arrest at some point. I have witnessed the unfortunate event of how domestic violence begins and grows and ends. Maybe this movie is just more of a trigger to me? But I definitely hate his anger issue and I hate that he hides his anger. This is such a red flag for someone dangerous in my opinion. I am 53 minutes in and struggling to finish this last 42 minutes. I love Adam Sandler and he is the only reason I am watching it. I don’t like the other actors in it, even though they are good actors. I stayed away from this movie for years because I thought I would not like it. I was right. I am hoping before the movie is over, Barry gets help for his anger. I don’t find much comedy in it, or much romance at this point. Hoping to see some of that soon before it is over. If in the next 42 minutes I end up liking it, I will have to revise this review. I hope I have to do that."

andrew_canton shared a tip "I can't pick a favorite part. I love every minute of the movie. In my opinion, the movie is genius. I watch it a couple times a year and it gets better every time. You can really feel the anxiety within Barry the entire movie. It might be Paul Thomas Anderson's best movie, that and The Master."
