"I’d probably give this more of a 3.5. It’s not too slow or anything really. I don’t think there’s a lot standing out that’s wrong with it. I just don’t love romance. This and comedy are my least favorite genres. But this is probably my favorite romance I’ve seen for a while. I like how their is a mix of happy, awkward, dark, and emotional moments. Kinda of like a real relationship but It also makes it more enjoyable for me. Michelle Williams and Ryan gosling both did a great job with their performances. These are probably my favorite type of performances basically just grounded and none of the dialogue feels like a overreaction for either character. I actually liked the mix of present and past scenes. It was nice to see the contrast between tones. The main focus is really them two. Even the daughter is not in the movie much. But I enjoyed that because the most entertaining parts are between the two characters. Good movie."
"Just simply - I just didn’t like it. Yuck. But that’s just my opinion. Just wasn’t for me. "
