Shawn-Paul PhilpottsDeserves a lil more attention, cause it’s honestly fun to watch
Shawn-Paul PhilpottsI finally finished the original Bleach anime, and I can confidently say the only reason I managed to get through it was by skipping all the filler episodes. While I’m not claiming all fillers are terrible, I preferred to stick to the main storyline. The series delivers some truly incredible action-packed moments and boasts a cast of dynamic supporting characters with moderate depth. One of Bleach’s strongest aspects is its antagonists, the Arrancars. Their backstories, character designs, and unique powers are genuinely intriguing. The main antagonist, though easy to despise for his manipulative nature, lacks a well-rounded motivation beyond his desire for more power, making him somewhat hard to understand. The animation has aged well, at no point did I feel it was unpleasant to watch. Overall, Bleach is an exciting ride, especially when you stick to the core story.
Shawn-Paul PhilpottsThe Boy and the Beast is one of the best anime movies I’ve ever seen. What I took away from it is that, as children, our souls need to connect with the right people and environments to grow and mature into good individuals. This growth can happen anywhere, and it’s a reciprocal process. Often, those in mentoring roles may come across as harsh, but we must remember that they too are growing and evolving alongside us. As children, we leave an imprint on our mentors or parental figures, giving them a chance to grow as well. It’s a mutual exchange of teaching, advising, and mentoring. The goal isn’t to become our mentors or parents, but rather a reflection of their guidance while maintaining our own sense of self, carrying pieces of those who have loved and guided us through life. This movie is an amazing portrayal of this making it a must watch
