"Had a anime hating phase for a while. Don’t know what cause it specifically but finally gave in. I didn’t plan on watching this today but ended up because I tried watching a show but couldn’t focus on it. The last anime I watched was the final season of attack on titan. I’m probably going to start watching a lot of anime now. But going to look for things I actually like instead of just picking what’s popular.
Anyways this movie was solid. I didn’t like it much as the demon slayer movies. Because their wasn’t as much action as I wanted. It made up for it in the second half but Still somewhat disappointed.not by the movie itself just by that.
The movie itself looks great and is visually stunning at times. Not a lot but it definitely feels like a higher quality then the show. I really liked the fight scenes visually. It was hard for me to follow mainly because my eyes are definitely not as good as they used to be. I still really enjoyed them.
Not a lot else to say because I honestly don’t care too much about the characters themselves. Not saying I don’t like them but they definitely aren’t the main draw for these shows. The only complaint I have is how the main character suddenly is really experienced at the end. It didn’t bother too much. But it’s still annoying nonetheless.
All that being said can’t wait to watch season 2 heard really good things. Well not much but it did best anime award so that has to mean something."
"The animation in this movie leaves me speechless. True to the series, it’s less about the story and more about the characters ability to control and utilize their full potential. It’s about the battles! This movie is fun, explores different characters, and like all great anime - transports you to another world. If you like the show, you’ll love the movie! "

"The plot developed at an unreasonable level even for an overpowered character such as Yuta. There is no possible way that within the context of this movie Yuta learned how to beat someone like Geten, and how to use his cursed energy so effectively. Yuta could have benefited from a 6 to 8 episode spin off miniseries where his abilities are developed realistically."
