"First movie of tonight. Well rewatch but still. Time to give this a proper review unlike last time. Brandon Lee is amazing as this character. I guess I’ve only seen a YouTube video on the actual comic but still. His dialogue is so iconic and sometimes wacky. The dark setting is amazing. I haven’t watched a movie that really keeps that look throughout. Atleast not animated I mean. I loved the antagonist’s goofy almost stupid dialogue. Well not stupid but I feel like the types of things he says are so random. Almost like something I’d myself say. Maybe I’m praising it too much here. But I’ve never really seen a revenge story be told like this. There is of course the revenge and flashbacks. But there is also very rare sweet moments. Action is flashy but not necessarily cool to look at. Somewhat prefer it though. I find I over rewind when watching things. A lot more funny moments then I remember. Moments I just laughed softly which is weird because I almost guarantee wasn’t the case last time. Amazing soundtrack and love the dark visuals. It was 2 years ago I watched this. Such a good movie. Will definitely come back to it again."
