Mission: Impossible II

"MI2 is easily the worst the series has to offer, but it's still better than most low budget action movies. Tom Cruise does what he can to salvage it, but even he couldn't outrun a bad and boring plot. "

"2/10 Utterly hilarious garbage. I laughed so hard I cried. It was so over the top and the tonal shift compared to the first tom cruise movie gave me severe whiplash. Who approved this? No one should have made money from this. This is the ugly, dysfunctional marriage between gratuitous explosions and objectification of women. The script is abysmal, effects are awful, cinematography was as uninspired as it gets, and acting wasn’t even worth hallmark quality. If you want to hate watch a “dad-hallmark movie” this is prime real estate."

"Tom Cruise is back as Ethan Hunt and everything gets amped up a little bit more in this sequel. The addition of Thandie Newton injects some sexual desire to movie full of blood pumping action sequences. This movie definitely out performs the first."

You don’t really get to find out what happened to the chick afterward and in the 3rd movie they don’t even mention her at all lol. If this film was a standalone and had no connection to any other films whatsoever, it would be a decent enough movie. But since that isn’t the case, it’s definitely my least favorite M:I movie."
