"This is a kick-ass movie!!! I don't normally go for war/military movies but I thoroughly enjoyed this one. A four man special ops team goes into the jungle on a mission that quickly goes to hell. With support from Hi-Tech military drones high above them, this pulse pounding action movie gets pretty wild. I loved the message in the film that at any given time, Americans at home could be living their lives doing every day things like enjoying a basketball game or grocery shopping and somewhere in the world, our soldiers are risking their lives in battle to maintain our freedoms. Very well done. Highly recommend. 9/10"
"Once I was able to accept the reality that Netflix movies just will not have the budgets of theatrical releases, these movies have become much more fun to me. An action/thriller about a CIA rescue op gone fubar. Too much Russell Crowe and not enough Milo Ventimiglia for my taste, but nothing’s perfect. An unexpected promise of this being good is that this Hemsworth, while of course not optimal, can carry the next season of The Witcher, whose ancillary characters I’m quite attached to. "
"I was very pleasantly surprised by this one! I thought the pacing and timing were really good; the back and forth between locations, character interactions and action all added to the plot. Sure, it was predictable at times, but not because I had seen it before, and that made me appreciate the story more because it was a side of the military I wasnt in any way familiar with. It also pulled me in - not right away but still early on - and continued to pull me in further and further the whole way through. Ironically, I was also sinking further and further into the couch from the loud noises :) A strong movie with excellent performances, 9/10📞"
"A solid war film that definitely entertains. Unfortunately, the main actor isn't in the film as much as I'd hoped."
