"This was cute. Sandler’s two daughters play his daughters in this. The MC is the younger daughter, who is supposed to be 13 yo and in 7th grade. Initially, I felt kinda creepy watching it. Then I realized what it was. This movie should be mandatory viewing for every 5th-7th grade girl and their father, together. Deals with low self esteem and self sabotage and lessons to learn everywhere. Plus it’s still pretty funny. "

"I hate to be negative, but avoid this movie. It’s a teen drama that is not well done and very hard to watch. Unless you are looking to be reminded how challenging it can be to be a middle schooler, this one isn’t for you. "

"The recurring thought running in my mind throughout the whole movie was thank God I'm not in middle school anymore - or school in general for that matter. Of course, I'm sure this was mostly drastically dramatized for the movie but still. It also felt very Adam Sandler, which surprised me because his role in the film was very toned down AND it was about a 13 y/o girl seeking petty revenge. Not sure I would classify this as a comedy, it was more teen(/pre-teen) drama with comedic relief from the parents. I would say it excelled in that category, but was more okay generally speaking. Overall: 7/10 :) "

"I definitely enjoyed this one, but to be fair I have always loved Adam Sandler, and the man’s entire family is in it. Super cute with a super cast, it’s really fun as a teen romp with a message. I also like that it’s not all about getting the boy in the end like all the high school movies I remember. It feels like a Happy Madison installment for sure lol, and I tell you what I have worked a lot of Mitzvahs both Bar and Bat, those mfs are crazy! They give a new meaning to ‘going all out’ lol. I’ve never seen anything else like it, except for maybe on the mtv show about spoiled kids turning 16 and whining about not getting Madonna to perform while riding into the venue in your brand new Ferrari. That aspect of it I just have to overlook "
