BriannaIf you love the show Criminal Minds this book is for you. 4.5 stars. The twist in this book đŸ€Ż I did NOT see it coming. I had no idea who to trust the entire time. The romance made it that much better and the characters were so interesting. You won’t be able to put this book down until the end. I put off reading this book for so long and it exceeded my expectations. Definitely recommend this one! 📖

BriannaThis story reminded me of a cross between The Notebook (Nicholas Sparks) and A Part of Your World (Abby Jimenez). This would be a fantastic fun summer read. The majority of the book takes place in Cape Cod during the summer. The MMC and FMC meet when they are in their teens but a tragedy tears them apart for over a decade. The mystery of what truly happened kept me turning the pages and reading well past my bedtime. When they meet again 11 years later they are forced into a fake relationship as they work toward a common goal and must lie to people they love. Feelings fly as the two are reunited. Unanswered questions are raised and finally after years and years, truths are revealed. Will all be forgiven? Does love really conquer all? You’ll find out in this beautiful second chance romance. BriannaI absolutely adored this duology! đŸ«¶đŸ» It was gripping and unputdownable. I loved the characters, the plot, the twists and turns, and this world. There were many moments when I got Throne of Glass vibes, so if you’re like me and loved TOG, this duology is one you won’t want to miss!

Brianna3.75 stars. This book started out really slow for me. It was a beautiful story throughout the book but I did not feel the emotional impact until the last third of this story. The last third though
had me sobbing and the twist at the end I never saw coming. My heart still hurts thinking about what happened. A truly beautiful romance that I won’t soon forget.

BriannaI love Freida McFadden so it pains me to say this book was just meh
I didn’t see the twist coming so I was surprised at the end of the book but it wasn’t a jaw on the floor kind of thing. The entirety of the book was a bit boring for me. It didn’t keep me on the edge of my seat furiously turning the pages like I did while reading the housemaid. This book was just okay. The ending was interesting and I didn’t see it coming so that landed it at three stars instead of two. Personally not one I would recommend.
