honeyNot all of World War 2 happened on land. This is a story of four people. Four secrets. One attempt to escape death and get to refuge. Thousands of people looking for safety flee to the âWilhelm Gustloffâ. A ship promising a chance to survive. A chance to reach safety and freedom. Unfortunately some promises canât be kept, and Ruta Sepetys tells the tale of those forgotten in the Baltic Sea. If you think youâve heard all the stories you need of the World Wars, this story will tell you otherwise. A great read that will definitely make you cry. #world_war_2 #historical #salttothesea
honeyNot a favorite of mine but itâs ok. Some of the plot is predicted in chapter one (1). Iâd honestly recommend saving chapter one for right after chapter eighty-three (83) if you can predict plots easily. I wasnât fond of the main characterâs indecisiveness in her love choices. Otherwise it is not too bad. Good read for mature YA. There are some romantic scenes.
honeyOh. My. Gosh. What a TWIST. I feel like I expected it a bit - you get weird feelings about certain characters as you go along but WOW. Very easy read - easiest read Iâve ever gotten my hands on really. Chapters are short but each one creates more questions and answers. 5 âïž
