Leonard MorenoTake the Vietnam War, and I'm talking about the black, white and gray areas of the war and America's involvement, giant fighting robots and Romeo & Juliet and you get arguably the greatest Gundam show of all time. No words can explain it, just go watch it for yourself 😉
Leonard MorenoThis six part prequel not only does a great job showing why Casval Rem Deikun aka Char Anzable is the way he is, but why EVERY PERSON IN THE ZABI FAMILY ARE **** HORRIBLE PEOPLE! Real talk, If you are a new parent, the Colony Drop is not for the faint of heart. I needed to take a 10 minute break after realizing all the Zabi's were down for not only Gassing an entire colony full of people but were okay dropping that thing onto Earth. Ramba Ral and Norris Packard (8th MS Team) are the only guys I ride for in Zeon Anyways, great show. Hulu and Crunchyroll do have all 6, 1 hour movies so you don't have to watch the 13 episode version
Leonard MorenoRecently wanted to try Gundam as an adult. Last Time I watched the original Mobile suit Gundam was on Toonami. Unfortunately the week after 9/11 they pulled this show, along with 8th MS Team and reruns of Gundam Wing off the air. If you can get past a lot of the animation errors due to the fact that this show came out in 1979, this show is a masterpiece when it comes to characters, storytelling and world building. Char Anzable walked so Eren Jaeger from Attack on Titan can run. Highly recommend watching the show. It's 42 episodes long. Alternatively you can also watch the 3 part movies that are available on Netflix.
Leonard MorenoI'm going to be straight with you guys. You WILL cry at the end of the show. Taking place on Side 6 during the final weeks of the One Year War, the OVA is told through the perspective of a child. We follow the kid as he befriends a Zeon pilot who's mission is to find a new Gundam unit that is secretly being built on the colony. I don't want to give too much away. The OVA is 6 episodes long so if you got 3 hours to kill, you won't regret it.
Leonard MorenoTop Gun: Gundam Edition! Stardust Memories takes place 4 years before the events of Zeta Gundam. From the music to the story and to the Federation POSSIBLY breaking the treaty first, this show will take you for a ride. Highly recommend it
Leonard MorenoBest movie of 2022. Possibly better than the first movie.
