"Just tuning into Season One of this #VIKINGS spinoff — I know it’s prolly formulaic with the violence, sex, & whatnot, but I can never get enough VIKINGS 🤩 — I LOVE these shows… I know a lot of it’s #fiction & not pure history, but this one’s about Leif Erikson & the tensions between the descendants of the vikings (Norse or "Danes") & the Norse clashing amongst themselves over conflicting Christian & pagan beliefs… The acting is as first-rate as the original VIKINGS series. The main characters, Leif, Freydis, & Harald, have excellent on-screen chemistry…. So, I say: “SKÅL!” Bring it!! 🔥 #HistoricalFiction #VikingHistory "

"I watched a couple episodes of one of those Vikings shows back in the day that didn’t hook me and never watched another one. Another of my very bad calls. This is freaking awesome. (insert obligatory Outlander comparison here). Just finished 8 episodes season two of three. One of those based on a real historical person. In this case future famed explorer Leif Erikson, the quietest, smartest, most open minded, and most heartbroken one, his sister Freydis, a sword wielding 6’1” Viking warrior priestess, and her man, the future king of Norway. All three are the most breathtakingly gorgeous people I’ve ever seen and all three are the baddest mf’ing warriors in the land. Great action and hand to hand combat scenes. These are interspersed with uncontrollable fits of weeping at the bravery, romance and just great story telling of it all. The season two finale had me jump to my feet screaming in excitement. So excited to binge three now. "

"It's good... Although the ominous green hue overlaying the Vikings as led by Ragnar in the original series still has my vote. There's a lot of characters right off the bat in this one and doesn't give the same vibe for its period. Also the episode intro on this one is pretty weak."

"I started this today and have got nothing accomplished (thankfully it’s Sunday). On episode 4 of season 1 and I am HOOKED! WOW! This is fast paced and holds your attention attentively! You cannot miss a second. The characters are special in their own ways. The storyline is easily followed and also sought through. This is absolutely fantastic after LOVING the original Vikings! Don’t hesitate! 150% binge worthy. 9/10 ⭐️"
