They make it clear early on that one of the 2 brothers killed her so it’s no big surprise when you finally find out which one did and that the other one helped him. I won’t spoil it by telling you which one did what. Doesn’t matter any way. They’re both as guilty as sin! It’s so disgusting that this is based on true events. Truly will make you rethink the premise of all organized religion, not just LDS."

It does a great job of depicting a man that must make the difficult decision of putting the greater good before loyalty to his church (even amidst increasing pressure from his family and the church)."

It really shows the progression of some and regression of others. It’s incredibly important when painting the full picture of what LDS had done under the radar, and how powerful the influence is when you are among them."

jonye shared a tip "I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. In the early days of the church - polygamy was practiced after many of the men were killed by people who did not want us practicing our religion - this left many wives & children without a father. Polygamy was later dropped from our practices. This show is a good drama but not everything in it portrays truth about the early days of our church, or even the current doctrine. It’s only done well for the storyline."
