"I agree it's a bit like the Bourne movies but stands on its own as a great series. In fact, I would argue that this show is better than any of those. Partially because there's more layers of twists and turns to squeeze into a series as opposed to a movie, and the writers + cast did a great job. Although I don't understand why they named the Vice President Ashley. I had to look it up and apparently it's a gender neutral name but just seems overly weird, especially since they gave it to an older American male"
