"I am not at all a fantasy girlie. I’ve heard so many good things about this show that I decided to give it a shot and OMG it grab my attention so quickly. The first season was witty, funny and oh so charming. I binged it in 2 days. The second season I have a few problems with. I’m so confused of her personality. It’s still naksu so what’s happened to the strong girl in season two? Idk but I still love and adore this drama so very much and I will 100% rewatch this drama soon. "
"This is a very creative and well-thought out drama. All of the characters are very dynamic and bring something unique to the table. The plot is interesting (although I think the end of season 1 is a little cliche, which I don’t mind). My favorite character is definitely the second male lead. He is so precious and deserves to be protected at all cost. I also appreciate the subtle character development of the female lead, wasn’t cheesy at all. Very excited for season 2! "
"I just wanna start off by saying that I absolutely adored the first season, but the second season was so infuriating and annoying to watch. First of all, the first season has a really cute storyline and made the perfect ending for an epic second season; however, that didn’t happen. The second season is so annoying for 3/4 of the episodes and only gets good with the last few. (Not to mention the fact that the episodes in this series are WAY too long and have WAY TOO MUCH useless filler and reused subplots.)
Mild spoilers:
I hate the second season because of the fact that Naksu’s original body is being shared between her and Jin Bu-Yeon’s souls. Even though she is considered Naksu… she just ISN’T. I absolutely despised how Netflix tried so hard to romanticize Jang Uk and “Naksu”’s relationship. Idc what anyone says, that is NOT Naksu. Jang Uk was falling in love with another woman and actively forgetting about Naksu and I hated it. The only satisfaction you get is at the ending.
Overall, this just felt like a waste of 30 hours of my life. Want my advice, stop watching at S1 Ep. 19."
