"After watching the first 4 episodes, I just can’t go any further, and I’m giving up on this icky show — that’s how @Briggette_ describes it & feels about it & I have to agree with her & also with @latinaliveblogging who believes it’s basically an excuse to create soft p°rn; it’s dumb S&M p°rn , ugh 😑 … It’s boring & several of the characters give me the ick, too, @briggette___ I agree with @wine_bar — I was fine with episode 1, but this show quickly crashed & devolved into “trashy, and it was in your face and without any depth.” — I also appreciate the thorough review here by @horror1999 who watched the entire series & then gave an honest review… So based on those reviews plus a few others, it seems the consensus is that this show is pretty bad; I trust y’all’s opinions & my gut, so I’m O-U-T, OUT! ✍️ 🤦🏻‍♀️ "

"Very much desperate. Lilly-rose depp was 96% unclothed the entire time. An excuse to make softcore corn basically. The story could've been better if the entire show wasn't completely s3xu4l, it could've had potential. Very odd and missed the mark. LRD wasn't as bad of an actress as I had assumed. Nor was the weeknd. But it was still just filled with s3x and nudity. "

"After Euphoria, I expected way more out of Sam Levinson than this. I mean, like what even is this. This just gives absolutely nothing. And not to mention not only does the Weekends character give major ick vibes but so does the weekend himself. Never liked the dude, from the moment he was announced to be in this every red flag in me went straight up, something about him is just not right to me. I just can't get past Sam Levinson putting out a pice of work as horrid is this. My mind is actually blown. Wtf did he think he was trying to do with this. 🤦🏽‍♀️ just ugh "

"This series had some good moments, but unfortunately they were over shadowed. Sexy is great, but sometimes less is more. This definitely crested right over sexy and crashed into trashy. It’s in your face but without depth that makes these stories really land. The weekend as a leading man? No thank you. He comes across creepy, predatory and trying way too hard. Honestly could have been great with a stronger leading man and dialled back just a bit. Would love to see more from Lilly Depp though. "
