"I wanted to love this so bad but unfortunately this is the antithesis of the progressive new sincerity of steven universe. this is a perfect example of woke gone wrong. with a beginning scene being the main character outing themselves as trans saying that nobody knows they are trans here and that's why they like it. and another scene that was actually quite disturbing is a demon coded as a female child sitting on a running washing machine while talking to others. "

"This show was bizarre. I at first was going to give up on it because the dog was hurt. I kept at it, and the dog was fine, so I just continued watching it. Spoiler: they kill the dog at the end. The show was canceled. So unless I read the comics, I'll never know what happened to the dog. At this point, I don't wanna know. If an animal is hurt, it automatically leads to me hating whatever it is."
