"A quick ten episode series of WW2"

"camera work was strange at times and way too dark at others. i liked eugene/sledgehammer, he was an interesting character to me. pacing of the series could've been improved."

"I watched this after band of brothers. So different! Instead of a beautiful tale of brotherhood and hope, this series was a depressing tale of heartbreak and death. I was annoyed how every episode had at least one sexually explicit scene. We don't need that. I was excited because I grew up going to the John basilone parade every year in Raritan. I drove by his statue daily and was told his story growing up. I don't think this movie exactly helped his cause. I feel this series focused more on the corrupt part of humanity and war instead of the hopeful side. I am glad I saw it, but band of brothers will always be my favorite."
