"At first I didn't think this anime had much to offer but after some time I have to say this anime has plenty of heart and soul. With an abundance of comedy and excitement, you will probably feel a rainbow of emotions watching it. I sure did. "

"I guess a lot of people expected this to be another Spy x Family. It's not, although there are certainly a few similar elements, and the comparison does Buddy Daddies an injustice. This anime is fully enjoyable as itself, and while it's mostly light and fun as you watch these two hitmen learn to parent, they also don't shy away from the fact that they are hitmen. There are definitely some dark moments and struggles for the adult characters. Not the child, though, as she is seemingly blissfully unaware of the dark stuff that goes on around her at times. And although she did sometimes get on my nerves, I found myself very attached to all of these characters. It's really a shame the show was only one season long."
