Our Oceans

"Narrated by Barack Obama, this five episode nature documentary about life in our oceans is very well done. Each episode covers a different ocean on our planet, Pacific, Indian, Atlantic, Arctic, and Southern Oceans. I'm always amazed at how they obtain the absolutely incredible footage of creatures that most of us have never seen, and will never see in real life. It's an in depth look at some of the most unrelenting and sometimes heartbreaking examples of the circle of life in some of the ocean's harshest conditions. There are also the not so subtle messages about pollution and global warming weaved throughout the narrative, that kind of takes the viewer out of the awestruck beauty of nature. But I guess that it is good to spread awareness. 9.5/10"

"The footage is something incredible, better than a lot of docs. The amount of effort and patience to capture some of these moments is something else as well. Although I don't think Obama's voice is suited for a documentary. "
