"Damn. This rom com centered around a vampire waiting for his human beloved to hopefully reincarnate & find him had so many touching moments, I shed quite the many tears. I mainly smiled & laughed with the many talented funny characters that surrounded this dashing vampire. Subtitled. "
"A vampire that has been around since the Joseon era seeks to find a way to become human, when he goes to sleep for a hundred years only to be awaken before his time finding his surroundings. Worth watching as the woman who has the deed to his house, works to find balance in her life as she lives with a vampire!"
"This was a good slow burn. Oooh I hated do-sik all the way to the end. I wish they'd showed more of the life mwanhi had lived before he was forced into hiding, it would've made his anger more understandable and more 3d
Now here are my gripes. The flashbacks! Sometimes their clothing changes even though it's supposed to be the same day, or it doesn't change even though it's supposed to be a different year. The house gets refurbished but some how prior to this they magically had the new wallpaper in the old room.
When one of the fights broke out the two characters were in front of a building but then suddenly just changed location for no visible reason, no teleportation or anything.
Would've been nice to know where the curse came from and why don-siks ancestors were trying to kill a full vampire. There's a few other things but over all ot was cute and funny and the actors re good at crying. "
"An original concept for a KDrama that I enjoyed watching. It’s a tad boring in some parts and the writing is not very in-depth. I liked the characters but the story is very driven by the main couple and there isn’t much room for subplots. I also didn’t like how we didn’t get to know the antagonist at all… I should know WHY he hates the ML but I don’t. He just hates him for no reason? I guess because he won’t let him feed on humans? That’s just terrible writing. He needs a valid reason for the weight of the grudge he holds throughout the show.
SEMI-SPOILER:
It’s NOT a happy ending. It’s bittersweet and leaves you with a message. (Which, if you’re a feel-good person like myself, you’ll think it’s total BS. IMO, the sad ending is WAY too much of a contrast to the quirky and humorous tone of the whole KDrama. I’d have to say it was just badly written in that aspect. Otherwise, it was cute."
"only watch if you want to cry🥲"
