"It was hard for me to get through the full season, the ML never grew on me so it wasnt as entertaining to watch, especially as he inevitably got more screentime. That's not to say I disliked him, but just a vibe or something. I did love the use of sign language and attention to detail! In theory, I'd give a second season a shot. 3/5🤟"
"I binged this in one night because I wanted to know what was going to happen. It’s cute and I was very glad to see some representation for those with hearing disabilities. It made me more aware of what someone might go through and the difficulties they face with everyday life and in love. It’s also nice to see a plot different from all the others. I hope we get a season 2. I would like to see where these couples get to."
"Nauseatingly adorable.
I'm not too big on romances because I find them very cheesy but this was very cute (still cheesy but I didn't mind lol)
Itsuomi was wonderful and I like that gave him a reason behind wanting to learn sign language that wasn't just for her. That was very touching. Loved his "kill them with kindness" "you WILL be my friend" type of attitude. I do kinda wish he wasn't as stoic? I dont know if that was a writing choice or a VA voice (I watched dub because I have a hard time reading) but i felt like the "cool guy who doesn't let anything get to him" personality went a little too far. However that could just be a me thing and other people really like it. I just feel like it's an overused stereotype for men. Especially in romance.
Yuki was so cute and sweet I just wanted to give her a hug. Usually I get annoyed with the super girly and bubbly female type of character but Yuki wasn't annoying at all. She is so sweet and hopeful I found her so charming.
Overall, tooth-rotting sweetness. Worth the watch if you want something cute and touching. "
