"This is the best version of the turtles bar none. The characters have distinct personalities and appearances. The stories are tight, the slow build up to Shredder means he’s always a terrifying villain and not the joke of the earlier series. The krangs design is amazing. I love how they talk. The action is well choreographed and as a treat there’s at least one movie homage in each episode. I really enjoyed spotting those. Plus the style of animation is very cool. Endlessly rewatchable. "

"I have not yet seen all of this series yet, but it is pretty good. I have watched some episodes of this when it was on tv when I was young, so it was somewhat apart of my childhood. I can’t say much on this but with some of the episodes I have watched, I’m giving this a 7/10"

"Grew up w/ this one. I can’t lie, I do NOT remember the entire show at all (just watched a recap and. yeah. dont recall 60% of that. whoops!) so maybe this isn’t the best “review” but what can ya do. I’ve been slowly making my way through it again. So, this isn’t much of a review per say, but here are my thoughts: Donnie needs to go. And April. April gets a lot of flack from the fandom because she rejects Donnie, even though he’s been a creep to her from the start? Do not like Don for those reasons, April I just find incredibly boring. She adds nothing. The voice cast is fantastic pretty much across the board. Standouts are Raph and Splinter for me. And probably Karai. My favorites are Raph, Karai, and Leo. The brothers are weirdly toxic to each other in this? They really are just so mean to each other. It’s strange rewatching and seeing just how little they actually like each other. I have a LOT of love for this show, but know it could’ve been much better and wish it were! (it /really/ should have been 2D animated (ಠ_ಠ) ) "
