Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

I have watched some episodes of this when it was on tv when I was young, so it was somewhat apart of my childhood. I can’t say much on this but with some of the episodes I have watched, I’m giving this a 7/10"

emma_jun shared a tip "This is the best version of the turtles bar none. The characters have distinct personalities and appearances. The stories are tight, the slow build up to Shredder means he’s always a terrifying villain and not the joke of the earlier series. The krangs design is amazing. I love how they talk. The action is well choreographed and as a treat there’s at least one movie homage in each episode. I really enjoyed spotting those. Plus the style of animation is very cool. Endlessly rewatchable."

emma_connor_6848 shared a tip "THIS SHOW GOT ME INTO TMNT. All the turtles are interpreted really well and the plots are great! Master Splinter and Karai are also fabulous! It’s really entertaining and fun! The fight scenes get REALLY cool later on, and this series definitely has THE BEST VERSION OF LEO in my op. Also, every turtle’s VA felt PERFECT for them! Rob Paulson especially does PHENOMENAL as Donatello! Only things I don’t care for are Casey and April. They felt superficial as characters, and at first you don’t notice or care too much, but it’s increasingly obvious. HOWEVER, again, the TURTLES are great! Show definitely could do better in certain areas, but it’s a great show to start with and really pays homage to the original 80s and 90s turtles anywhere it can."
